Who we’re looking for:

You love tackling hard challenges with customers who have real line of business problems with deadlines.  The real satisfaction comes from addressing complex needs with simple solutions, but the skill is in being able to collaborate with the customer and your teammates to get there.  You want to run point on the problem but are not afraid to tell a customer you don’t know an answer and need to go find it.  You want to be able to look back in a few years and say “I helped build that.”

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver aggressive license, support and service revenue targets – commitment to the number and to deadlines
  • Named Account penetration, account planning and opportunity management
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and RO
  • Work alongside our Solution Architects to convert customer needs and solve their problem.
  • Be a team player who works with all Cyclers across all functions with respect, energy and a sense of humor.
  • Represent Cycle to customers, partners and competitors with integrity and professionalism. 

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience with one or more configuration management systems (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Experience with one or more batch schedulers (e.g. HTCondor, Open Grid Scheduler)
  • Knowledge of Python or Ruby
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings
  • Experience in Linux or Windows computational environments
  • Domain experience in life sciences, manufacturing, mathematics, or another discipline that makes use of high-performance or high-throughput computation

Locations available:

You can do this job from anywhere in the world, but we have a strong preference for people in or near NYC, Boston, the Bay Area, Seattle, or Austin.
